Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Möller
Chairman
is partner at ICME International AG, an international consultancy firm based in Switzerland. ICME with additional affiliations in Europe and Middle East develops since more than 50 years successfully tailor-made solutions in the areas of Corporate Strategy, Organization, Processes, Leadership Systems and supports strategic switches. The consultancy know-how covers a bandwith of business areas in Healthcare, Real Estate, Telecom & Media as well as Energy & Utilities. Mr Möller was 25 years at a market leader in the Healthcare industry of which several years in the Managing Board. Besides responsibilities for distribution and product marketing he developed new business operations for the company, which not only focussed on the medical products, but also further services for the Healthcare environment. These include among others Consultancy & Management, business economical and medical software development, technical device management etc. Moreover, Mr Möller was for several years in a leading position active in the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI). Through these activities a strong network integreting the medical industry in Central Europe was buildt. Besides his advisory tasks Mr Möller is also Managing Director of ICME Healthcare GmbH in Berlin and takes seat in several Supervisory Boards. |

Dr. Mathias Hothum
Dr. Mathias Hothum, owner of HMM-Consulting, received his diplom degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim. He went on to do his doctorate at the University of Magdeburg.
For the past 20 years he has gained experience as a health economist in the sectors healthcare, health service and life sciences. He specializes in pricing, reimbursement and in the evaluation of medium-sized companies and publicly owned/market-listed companies.
Mathias Hothum is managing director of dievini Hopp BioTech holding GmbH & Co. KG – Advisors in Health Sciences. His focus is on controlling and strategy planning of portfolio companies. |

Michael Quintel MD
was born 4th of March 1954 in Weinheim, Germany. He obtained his degree in medicine in 1985 at the University in Heidelberg. Between 1985 and 1987 he started his training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in a township hospital, moved then to the University, Hospital Mannheim, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Heidelberg. 1990 he completed his training in Anaesthesia in the department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the University Hospital Mannheim and served as research fellow in Professor Robert Bartlett's lab at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. Back to the University Hospital of Mannheim he first became attendant physician, finally he worked as deputy of the chair of this department. 2003 he was elected as chair of Surgical Intensive Medicine at the University of Göttingen, in 2009 he received additionally full responsibility for the Anaesthesia service at the University of Göttingen. Beside his membership in many national and international societies he is examiner of the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care examinations of the ESA and the ESICM. Actually he is the president of the German Interdisciplinary Society of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI) and a member of the council of the German Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (DGAI). |

Dieter Scherer Ph.D.
Chief Business Officer
Dieter Scherer joined Novaliq in April 2009 as CBO. His 20 years of experience covers the gamut from business development and licensing to product development in the field of drug delivery. His experience covers a wide variety of dosage forms, with his speciality in working with the delivery of poorly soluble drugs. After filling various staff and line functions with increasing responsibilities at LTS Lohmann in Germany and SkyePharma in Switzerland, he set up his own consultancy (Apis Pharma AG) in 2003 advising drug delivery companies throughout Europe. Mr. Scherer graduated as Pharmacist at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt and later received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from the same faculty. |

Berthold Wipfler
Certified tax consultant since 1985
Berthold Wipfler is co-founder of Wipfler & Partner in Walldorf, a tax advisory and business consulting firm specialising in corporate transactions and structuring. Leading international firms such as SAP and the SAP founders Dietmar Hopp and Hasso Plattner are amongst his long-term clients. Before starting his own consulting business as a certified tax consultant Mr. Wipfler held executive positions in the fiscal administration of the Land of Baden-Württemberg from 1969 to 1985. In his last position Mr. Wipfler was responsible for the department of audit, investigation of suspected tax offences, criminal matters and fines at the regional tax office in Karlsruhe. In his academic career Mr. Wipfler was a lecturer at School of Finance in Karlsruhe and Technical University for Finance in Ludwigsburg as well as at the Bundesfinanzakademie Siegburg (1969 – 1985). Mr. Wipfler holds a Master of Fiscal Affairs from the Technical University for Finance. Mr. Wipfler is the executive managing director of the Hasso-Plattner-Stiftung für Softwaresystemtechnik, Potsdam, member of the board of trustees of Hochschule Karlsruhe – technology and economy, as well as member of a wide variety of supervisory boards. |
